Jana Jonckheere is an economist who has been with the National Bank’s Economics and Research Department since 2013, when she joined the labour market, prices and wage costs group. Four times a year, she prepares projections on inflation in Belgium for the Eurosystem. She is also a member of the Price Observatory’s scientific committee.
Jana holds master’s degrees in both economics (Ghent University, 2011) and finance and economic development (University of Glasgow, 2012). She started her career at the NBB as a statistician.
