Payment

The filing fee for annual accounts must be received within six working days from the time the accounts are marked as “ready for payment”. Payments must be made via payment service provider CCV, which collects payments on behalf of the National Bank of Belgium. Upon timely and correct payment, the annual accounts will be published and the company will receive a filing notice in its e-Box Enterprise.

Structured communication

Bank transfers must always include a structured communication so that the payment can be matched to the correct filing. The absence of a structured communication will result in rejection of the payment.

In the event of a batch payment by bank transfer using a single structured communication, the total amount must be paid at one time. Partial payments using the same structured communication will be automatically rejected.

Payment methods

On the Payment methods page, three options to pay the filing fee are described:

  • I filed annual accounts and wish to pay the filing fee.
  • I wish to pay the filing fee for annual accounts filed by a third party (e.g. my accountant).
  • I filed annual accounts (e.g. as an accountant) and wish to send a payment order to a third party (e.g. my client).

Deposit date

The date on which accepted accounts are filed is considered the official filing date. This is also the case if the filing fee is paid in a timely manner (within six business days), but not necessarily on the official filing date.

For more information on determination of the filing date, see the “Practical examples” below.
