Central Credit Registers
The National Bank collects and stores information on all loans and bank accounts in Belgium through three different central organisations. Thus, the Central Point of Contact for accounts and financial contracts (CPC) contains information on foreign accounts, while the Corporate Credit Register (CCR) helps lenders better assess business indebtedness. Finally, lenders can use the Central Individual Credit Register (CICR) to prevent the overextension of credit to consumers.

Declaration of foreign accounts to the Central Point of Contact
