The Household Finance and Consumption Survey provides the National Bank of Belgium with unique microeconomic information about the financial situation of private households in the broad sense.
Every three years, a survey on Foreign Exchange and Derivatives Market Activity is conducted. Data were collected on turnover in the over-the-counter (OTC) foreign exchange market and on the interest rate derivatives market.
The European Central Banks publishes its own research papers and economic and financial statistics.

The National Bank studies a great variety of subjects: the determination and implementation of the Eurosystem’s monetary policy, the economic activity both at home and abroad, the labour market, price developments, costs and incomes, public finances and financial markets... Those analyses are completed by studies by sector or by branch of activity.
