Webinar : The road towards a “new” financial system?

In the course of the last 10-15 years, financial institutions have been confronted with a number of internal and external shocks. Financial crisis, new supervision, digitalization, cryptocurrencies, unconventional monetary policy… have changed the outlook of the sector and have certainly changed very rapidly the prospects of the sector. This webinar, under the theme “The road towards a new financial system”, wants to give an overview of the main drivers of these evolutions in three high level contributions. In the first contribution, Freddy Van den Spiegel will try to analyze the main challenges the financial sector is confronted with. The contribution of Maria Demertzis will focus on the various and significant impacts of divers forms of digitalization. And Rudi Vander Vennet will share with us his ideas on the drastic impact of these evolutions for financial institutions.
