N.B. | Send the banknotes together with a completed and signed form, a copy of the requester’s identity card (both of side), and the name and bank details of the actual recipient to the following address: Central Cash Office, Boulevard de Berlaimont 14, 1000 Brussels. Belgian coins
It is no longer possible to exchange Belgian franc or ecu coins.
Foreign currency
Many banknotes and coins of other euro area countries can still be exchanged at the counters of the national central bank concerned. The European Centrale Bank’s website sets out the conditions and addresses.
