The main change with respect to the previous Circular NBB_2018_08 lies in the fact that, in addition to the procedure relating to transfers of portfolios of insurance contracts, it now also sets out the procedure to be followed with regard to mergers and divisions requiring the approval of the NBB in accordance with Article 102, first paragraph, 2° of the Law of 13 March 2016.
