Who can I contact if I have questions about the impact of the coronavirus crisis?
FSMA: Call centre
Several measures were announced to help cushion the impact of the coronavirus crisis on consumers, the self-employed and businesses. The measures are being taken by both the government and the banking and insurance sectors. Anyone with questions about these measures can contact the call centre set up by the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA). These measures are intended for those financially affected by the coronavirus crisis and concern, for example, a moratorium on mortgage loans, a moratorium on the payment of taxes and a moratorium on the payment of insurance premiums and contributions for second-pillar pensions.
Febelfin: Central contact point
In order to help anyone who has questions or encounters financial difficulties as a result of the coronavirus crisis, Febelfin, the federation of the Belgian financial sector, has set up a central contact point: firstname.lastname@example.org.
As a company, you can address your questions there about the government's support measures and the possible measures that banks can offer. As a private individual, you have the possibility to submit all your questions about possible repayment difficulties due to the current crisis.
