How can I consult the data at the Central Register?

You can find out which data is registered in your name at the Central Register

  • Via the internet, based upon your electronic identity card or the itsme app on your smartphone

  • By letter, accompanied by a recto verso copy of your identity card, addressed to:

    National Bank of Belgium
    Central Individual Credit Register
    Boulevard de Berlaimont 14
    1000 Brussels

  • At the counters of the National Bank (boulevard de Berlaimont 3, 1000 Brussels), presenting your identity card.

You will receive a summary of the data registered in your name (lender’s name, contract number, amount borrowed and contract situation).

No information will be given out over the telephone.
