- The Individual Credit Register (ICR) helps lenders prevent consumer overindebtedness.
- The Corporate Credit Register (CCR) can be used by banks and market authorities to measure business indebtedness.
- The Central Point of Contact (CPC) provides information that facilitates the work of notaries and parties involved in financial investigations.

Declaration of foreign accounts to the Central Point of Contact
All Belgian residents holding foreign accounts must declare them to the Central Point of Contact (CPC) for accounts and financial contracts.
The Individual Credit Register (ICR) is changing its IT application on 1 May 2024.
As a result:
- Consumers will not be able to consult their credit data online from 30 April 2024 at 20:00 to 2 May 2024 at 12:00.
- The monthly figures of the ICR for May 2024 will be published later than usual (in early July 2024).
