Protection of privacy

The protection of privacy of a person recorded in the Central Register is respected by applying the following measures.

This person:

  • is informed of the recording of data by a specific note in the text of the credit contract which he/she is entering into;
  • is personally informed by letter when an overdue debt in his/her name is first recorded in one of the files;
  • may personally access, free of charge, data recorded in his/her name;
  • may request that incorrect data be corrected.
