The Central Corporate Credit Register

The Central Corporate Credit Register (CCCR) registers the credits granted by banks and other types of institutions to enterprises, associations, the public sector,... as well as to sole traders. It offers the participants the opportunity to optimise the assessment of their credit risk and the National Bank to evaluate this assessment and the risks they can encounter.

  • The CCCR records information on credits granted to legal persons (enterprises) and natural persons (individuals) in connection with their business activity.

  • The participants have to report each month to the CCCR all information on any current contract and on their debtors. This information concerns more in particular the granted amount and the non-repayments.

  • Every month the National Bank publishes statistics on authorised and used credits recorded at the Central Corporate Credit Register, as well as more specific information in connection with the Observatory for credit to non financial companies.
