A specialist in monetary policy and international economics, Naïm Cordemans joined the National Bank in 2009. He currently works in the Economics & Research Department and coordinates various projects relating to the Bank’s international responsibilities. He lectures on monetary policy at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and chairs the Société Royale d'Économie Politique de Belgique (SREPB). Naïm holds degrees in economics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the College of Europe in Bruges.
