Joris Wauters is an economist in the National Bank of Belgium’s Monetary Policy Group, part of the Economics and Research Department. After qualifying as a commercial engineer (KU Leuven), he subsequently obtained a master of advanced studies in economics (KU Leuven) and a PhD in economic sciences (Ghent University). His research interests are wage and price inflation, inflation expectations and surveys experiments. More information can be found on his homepage.
