The National Bank studies a great variety of subjects: the economic activity both at home and abroad, the labour market, price developments, costs and incomes, public finances and financial markets... Those analyses are completed by studies by sector or by branch of activity.
Annual Reports of the National Bank
The National Bank publishes two annual reports. The first one provides useful information on the recent economic and financial developments, both in Belgium and abroad. The second one - the Corporate Report - presents the annual accounts of the National Bank and discusses the main events of the financial year.

Research and scientific cooperation
Since Belgium joined the euro area, the National Bank has initiated a number of measures to promote research and cooperation with the academic world.
Economic indicators
At the end of each week, the National Bank releases an updated collection  of the main Belgian economic and financial variables.
Products Central Balance Sheet Office
The Central Balance Sheet Office makes the annual accounts data it collects available to various target groups and in different forms.
Statistics Central Individual Credit Register
Each year, the National Bank publishes a report containing an overview regarding the number of and changes to the contracts and persons recorded by the Central Register.
Statistics Central Corporate Credit Register
Each quarter, the National Bank publishes statistics of the authorised and used credits recorded by the Central Corporate Credit Register.
Annual Report of the Securities Regulation Fund
The report gives an account of the most important events which have taken place during the past year on the primary and secondary markets for public securities.

The European Central Banks publishes its own research papers and economic and financial statistics.
