XBRL and XBRL Belgium
XBRL is a rapidly emerging computer language for the electronic exchange and standardisation of financial reporting through the internet. The non-profit-making organisation XBRL Belgium has been set up to encourage its use in Belgium.

| Constitution and objectives | | The XBRL platform for Belgium was introduced at the National Bank's head office on 22 November 2004. Its aim will be to promote the use in Belgium of "eXtensible Business Reporting Language" (XBRL). |

| Working groups | | In order to develop actual projects, the NPO has set up three working groups which are responsible for coordinating projects at national level but also for participating in international working groups. |

| Corporate Permanent Data Taxonomy | | This taxonomy is a complement to the Belgian financial reporting Taxonomy. Its purpose is to enable an exchange of corporate permanent data between various software programs and the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises. |
