Since confidential information is made available through the Internet, the transmission has to be secured. In order to do so, the National Bank calls for an advanced security technique: strong SSL (128 -bits Secure Sockets Layer) encryption. To check whether this high encryption pack is installed on your computer, proceed as follows:

 

 

Internet Explorer:



In your browser, click on "About Internet Explorer" in the "Help" menu.



The above window will appear. Check if the cipher strength equals 128-bit.
If not, click here to start the installation of the "Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack".

 

 

Netscape:



In your browser, click on "About Netscape" in "Help" menu.



The above window will appear. Check if the cipher strength equals 128-bit.
If not, click here to start the installation of the "Netscape Explorer High Encryption Pack".
