Solutions

1.

When I start an application on the site, the following error occurs: "NO ENTRY POINT DEFINED" . What can I do?
This error message indicates that the application was not launched via a valid NBB server before the attempt to use a secure application. If this message appears, you have to launch via URL http://www.nbb.be.

2. When I try to use the internet applications he following error message appears: "SERVICE MAY BE DOWN OR FATAL ERROR" . What is the reason and how can I solve this problem?
Some customers experience problems using the secured applications. Therefore a temporary page has been created for connectivity using SSL : http://www.nbb.be/sy . By 31 December 2002 at the latest, the standard links will also be accessible using SSL, and this temporary detour will disappear.

Attention: your browser must support 128-bit encryption and in the browser-settings the "use SSL 3.0" and/or "use TLS 1.0"-options have to be ticked (see general/browser settings).

3. My browser is not equipped with 128-bit encryption. Where can I download the necessary software?
If your browser belongs to the Microsoft family, you can download the "Internet Explorer High Encryption Pack" through the following link: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/recommended/128bit/default.asp.
When using Netscape, you can download the security mechanism through the link http://wp.netscape.com/download/archive.html.
